Moodbidri, 05 Feb 2015: ‘Indian history states that Aryans from Middle East (ME) invaded India. Meanwhile, when one does earnest research in this regard, it proves there has been no invasion. There are no scientific basis to prove there were 2 tribes that is Aryans and Dravidians,’ said India Platform – Belgium based researcher Marian Keppens.
What history says?
Indian history books state that Aryans were not Indians. It’s perceived that Hinduism that grew with Aryans practices caste system sidelining human values. Hinduism that was originated from Vedas gave birth to caste system because of it followed the complexion of humans thereby responsible for social inequalities.
However, there are no solid proofs to prove this. It only justifies the ill notion of Hinduism and upper caste (Brahmin) virtues. It’s on these basis, the discussions are held legislative assemblies and parliament. India governments are trying to find solution to caste system without identifying the flaws. The need of the hour is to identify the lapse in history and work based on research, said Marian.
What the research say?
When one does research on Indian history and Aryans, there has been no solid proof for anything on history, scientific, language and ME. There are no records to prove there were 2 tribes such as Aryans and Dravidians.
The study proves that there thrived segregation of people on the basis of the basis of their color (complexion) in ancient Europe like in India that led to social inequalities, said Marian.
The experiences of people of ancient times will determine whether Aryans invaded India or not. It depends on whether they accepted the culture. It’s not possible to know such experiences. It’s a great challenge for history to prove it, added Marian.
