M’luru: Chalipolilu, Tulu movie set to complete 100 days on Feb 7

Mangaluru, 05 Feb 2015: Tulu filmdom is going to create history on Feb 7, because the movie produced under the banner Jayakirana Films directed by Veerendra Shetty Kavoor will complete 100 days screening in 3 theaters. It has been screened 75 days in 5 theaters and surging to create record.    

 

Chalipolilu that has several firsts for its credit is being screened in Jyoti, PVR and Big Cinema in Mangalore.  Among them, it will complete 100 days at PVR.

 

 

The movie has good entertainment, story, social message and comedy that attract diverse viewers from different community. The students of nearly 18 schools have already viewed the shows in Jyoti theater. It has been screened in Bengaluru and Mumbai also with mega success. The plans are underway to screen the movie in other theaters across India and overseas. It has crossed revenue of over Rs 2 crore already. It’s indeed a record for a Tulu to complete 100 days in 3 theaters simultaneously.

 

The mega success of Chalipolilu, prompted other movie producers to register their titles for new movies already.  Besides, the producers increased their momentum to complete their movies that are already registered. The casts of Chalipolilu are lured by other producers by offering them huge package.

 

It has bagged 8 awards during Tulu Chitrotsav – 2014 held at Forum Mall, here recently that testifies its popularity. The movie has everything from top direction, class camera technic, music etc. The movie casts Devdas Kapikad, Navin D Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Arvind Bolar, Sundar Rai Mandara, Chetan Rai, Laxman Kumar Mallur, Divyasri, Surendra Bantwal, Arjun Kapikad and others have gotten a new image because of their acting in the movie. The ace cameraman Utpal Nayanar has done superb job, besides music director V Manohar and playback musician Manikant Kadri – all contributed for the success of Chalipolilu.
