Moodbidri: Burglars strike house, decamp jewellery worth Rs 3.5 lac & cash

Moodbidri, 01 Feb 2015: The burglars struck a house located on B T Road, Kadandale, near here and decamped with gold jewellery worth Rs 3.5 lac and cash money of Rs 10,000 on January 29, Thursday.

 

 
The burglars struck the house of a certain Prasad Shetty, when his family was away to attend a public function on Thursday evening. The burglary was come to light when Prasad returned home along with his family on Friday January 30 at 1.00pm. The burglars gained access to the house by breaking the latch-lock of back door.

 
Moodbidri rural police registered a case in this regard and investigations are underway.
