Dubai: UAE Kabaddi Fest; Mangalore team beat Tamil Nadu in final

Udupi, 29 Jan 2015: Arjuna Archery Arts and Sports Club UAE organized its first all India level Kabaddi Fest at GMC University ground, Ajman, behind Khalifa Hospital on Jan Friday January 23.
 
There were altogether 26 teams from different states who took part in the fest, 21 from Kerala, 4 from Tamil Nadu and 1 team representing Karnataka.
 
In the first semifinals, New Bharath Kannangal beat Finex Kalachara with 17-13 points. In the second semifinal New Mark beat Victory Palla with 19-18 points.

 

 

 
Final match was held between New Mark Mangalore and New Bharath Kannangal Tamil Nadu. The Mangalore emerged winners of the fest who beat Tamil Nadu team with 21-19 points.
 
The New Bharath Kannangal team is owned by Al Quoz Contracting Company and the Mangalore team is owned by Noel D’ Almeida and Naveen Salian.
