Karkal: Republic Day celebrations at St Joseph’s School, Belman

We ought to give due care for cleanliness that would cleanse our soul. The clean localities will contribute for clean nation. It’s our duty to honor the law of the land,’ said Fr Lawrence B D’Souza, correspondent of St Joseph’s education institutions, Belman, near here.
Fr Lawrence was delivering Republic Day address during the celebrations held at St Joseph’s High School ground, Belman, near here on Monday January 26. It was organized jointly by St Joseph’s Higher Primary School and English Medium School, Belman.
Lions Club – Belman president Inna Udayakumar Shetty conveyed best wishes.
Fr Arun D’Souza, Lions Club International zonal director B Sitaram Bhat, vice president Vishwanat Patkar, secretary Kiran Kumar Chowta, Urban D’Souza, high school head teacher Renilda Pereira, Kannada medium school head teacher Sr Monica, English medium school head teacher Janet D’Souza were present at the dais.
NCC cadets presented a colorful march-fast at the commands of NCC director Haridas Prabhu.
Dinanita Noronha welcomed the gathering. Anisha proposed vote of thanks. The senior teacher B Pundalika Marate and Deepti compered the programme.
