Moodbidri, 24 Jan 2015: It’s owing to the contributions of past Indian scientists that the country is rapid strides in science. The new generations of science students are ahead in technology that holds the potential for India to emerge a developed nation in this century, said former scientist and director of Chemiluck DRDD Dr Sudhindra Haldoddy.
Dr Sudhindra was speaking after inaugurating Alvas Science programme, state level science convention organized by Alvas higher education, research and science department here on Friday January 23.
‘The science students are experimenting on new inventions, but have no idea how to introduce to the world. It makes them impossible to get feedback from people. The feedbacks are essential to improvise on invention. The research in science is a longtime strategy that needs perseverance,’ said Dr Sudhindra.
Dr Sudhindra released Alvas Madhyama, bulletin that is being published by Alvas College department of journalism on the same occasion.
Alvas College principal Professor Kurian, chemistry lecturer Dr S Samsuddin, teachers, college lecturers and over 200 students from different colleges were present on the occasion.
