Mangaluru: Over 75 bikers commit for safe riding for charity

Mangaluru, Dec 22, 2014: On the occasion of Christmas season, RevLimiterz in association with Northern Sky Properties Private Limited and United Riders of Mangaluru organized a Road Safety and Fundraising Ride for Charity here on Sunday December 21 at 4.00pm.
More than 75 bikers committed themselves for safe riding as a daily habit. The ride flagged-off from Forum Fiza Mall, here on Sunday at 4.00Pm.
The whole objective of the event was to promote road safety among the public, with number of accidents increasing in Mangalore and traffic problem increasing day by day. It becomes important to focus on safety and discipline on roads.
The event started with talk on road safety and distribution of safety stickers to general public. We mainly focused on educated general public to wear helmets and safety gear, not use mobile phone and strictly no drink and driving, lane discipline and so on.
The ride continued from Forum Fiza Mall towards City Centre Mall, M G Road, KSRTC, KPT distributing the road safety stickers at all junctions. Followed by a visit to Balagraha Ashram, Maryhill, where all the participants distributed Christmas sweets along with fun filled carol singing bringing smiles and spreading cheers.
The awareness ride continued to Taneerbavi beach, where road safety was promoted and the stickers were distributed to general public. To conclude globally road safety is very important and we as United Riders of Mangalore are looking forward Mangalore to be a safe city to all commuters.
The event was sponsored by Northern Sky Properties Private Limited along with 92.7 Big FM as radio partner and Forum Fiza Mall as venue partner.
Mangalore Jawa Yezdi Club, Naked Wolves Mangalore, Yamaha Riders Club Mangaluru, Orange Falcons, Team Flyby, Flying Bandits, Team Rattlers and other clubs partaken in the event.
