Bantwal, Dec 13, 2014: There is difference in the term knowledge and education. The education is facilitates to knowledge. When we educate with knowledge, it would lead to success in life, said Karnataka Bank chairman Anantakrishna.
Anantakrishna was speaking after inaugurating two-day exhibition that was organized as part of silver jubilee celebrations of Bala Vikas English Medium School, Mani, here on Friday December 12.
The exhibition is the display of exalted knowledge, said Anantakrishna. It’s the introspection of how to innovate on new items, in order to positively involve in extra curricular activities besides the studies. The hobbies have to be continued along with studies, urged Anantakrishna.
ZP member Chennappa Kotian presided the programme here on Friday morning.
The entrepreneur K P Shetty and Gurunat B Bagewady of education department were the chief guests of the occasion.
Bala Vikas Trust chairman Dr B S Naik, correspondent J Prahlad Shetty, PTA president Mohan P S, vice presidents Balakrishna Alva Kodaje and Kasturi Pradeep, members Appuraya Pai, Narayan Shetty, High School head teacher Vijayalaxmi V Shetty, Primary School head teacher Grace P Saldanha, alma mater president Mahesh J Shetty were present.
The School administrator C Sridar welcomed the gathering. The teachers Akshata and Harinakshi compered the programme. The teachers Dinakar Poojary, Sujayasri Shetty, Ashalata, Anita G, Samiha Banu assisted in the programme.
