Kuwait: Indian Cultural Society Presents Himesh Reshammiya Live in Concert

Kuwait, 09 Dec 2014: Indian Cultural Society (ICS) presented a fabulous entertainment programme, ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne’ here on Friday November 28, featuring music director, producer, composer, actor and playback singer Himesh Reshammiya.

 

A charismatic performer, Himesh Reshammiya rocked the show with his humanity, humor and great talent along with talented playback singers Palak Muchhal and Mohammed Irfan.

 

Rock stars kept the audience glued to their seats for the better part of 5 hours, regaling the crowd with anecdote and by getting them involved on stage.

 

Aashiq Banaya Aapne the title given in honor of Himesh and his awarded song. The jam-packed audiences witnessed and cheered the quality entertainment.

 

Indian Ambassador to Kuwait Sunil Jain inaugurated the programme and released the souvenir along with the sponsors, senior diplomats from US and German embassy, guest of honor BSK chairman Sadiq Al Mutawa.

 

Ambassador Jain and diplomats appreciated efforts and concept of ICS team.

 

 

Its for the first time in Kuwait, new motor bike Royal Enfield was launched by Ashish Tandon (GM- KAICO group). He said Royal Enfield is a revolution in bike industry with its special features and attractive price.

 

Extraordinary sensational performance by the dreamers kept the audience mesmerized. They danced energetically to Sufi Sazda, Damadam mast Kalandar and London Tumka.

 

The main show kicked-off with soulful singing by renowned organizer-cum-passionate singer Anant Kapadia. He mesmerized the audience with 2 hit numbers of Mukesh.

 

Live concert started with upcoming singer Safa Khan who set the evening with her soulful song, ‘Bahara Bahara Hua Dil Pahli Baar.’  She also sang duet with Himesh Duet (Naina Re Naina Re….. Dangerous Ishq).

 

The highlight of the show was playback singer and social worker Palak Muchhal, who made entry with, ‘Tum Hi Ho.’  Palak performed her unforgettable hit numbers..Chahu Main Ya Na, Ice Khaoongi, Jumme ki Raat, Meri Aashiqui…’

 

Today’s choice playback singer Mohammed Irfan kept the music lovers on their toes with his renditions. Irfan sung series of his hit songs like, ‘Phir Mohabbat, Salam Zindagi, Banjara, Bahne De,.Baarish.., Tere Bin Jiya, Rehmat Zara, Muskurane ki.., etc.

 

ICS organizing Committee had always worked hard to provide the expatriate community from the subcontinent with clean, whole quality entertainment for the entire family. Rock Star Himesh has won the heart of every one by his high voltage performance and involvement with audience. He appreciated ICS efforts and well organized eve.

 

City Centre COO Ajay Goel, Taal and Dawat managing director Ravi Kohli, KSCC general manager Asad Khan, KCH general manager Kamal Al Din, Eternity Tourism managing director Sharif M Rangrez, Sahara Ac Co managing director Ajaz Ahmed, Faisal Al Hulaifi Group managing director Vijay D Kapoor, Al Zahem and Malhotra general manager Qayed Johar, OBTC managing director Jagdeep Sahni, KAPICO vice president Venktesh D, Fly Dubai general manager Kiran Kumar, Green Spring Projects director Lali Singh were present on the occasion. They spoke of Indo Kuwait friendship, cultural exchange, and contribution of India to the world, also appreciated ICS efforts to promote art and culture in Kuwait.

 

The show was anchored by Indian Cultural Society president Ashfaque A Khan; a man of multifarious talent, whose zeal and commitment to build bridges and promote Indian culture has always driven him to achieve higher goals.

 

ICS has honored with memento to Tanusmita Das (choreographer- Dreamers), core Committee executives Sajjad Sayeed, Shahzad Chaoudhry, Hussin Bin Mohammed and Albert Mathias for their excellent contribution to make ICS Mission successful. It was well organized celebration in decent manner.

 

The guests were gifted memento and gift hampers by Sahara AC and ICS. Refreshment & complementary items were distributed by KAICO group, Al Yasra Food, Al Zahem and Malhotra.

 

The ICS president expressed his gratitude to all executives of ICS, volunteers, event supporters, techno staff, media press wings including Disney (Catering- Bombay Chowpaty), best sound Varghese Paul and Sunil John ( Veena Audio), Ravi K Reddy (Light- Tally Group) Subin Philip (Digital & Video), Shahzad Ahmed (still photography), Rashid Sheikh for auditorium services,. Finally the show ended with the rocking medley.

 

The hard work of the ICS team and quality entertainment on time has become a model for live programmes in Kuwait. Event manager Shugufta Khan was seen standing throughout the show to ensure the comfort of audience.
