Moodbidri: Car illegally-transporting cow stuck besides road, accused flee

Moodbidri, 02 Dec 2014: Three men who were illegally transporting cattle in a car fled when their car stuck besides the road, near a paper mill here on Monday December 1.

 

The cattle-lifters fearing attack abandoned the car when the locals rushed to the spot. The locals found the cow was loaded in inhumane way with cramped space.

The town police towed the car along with the cow to the station. The cow was secured with podder and water. The police also found swords in the hood.

The police registered a case in this regard.
