Mangaluru: North Indian Merchants donates Water Purifier to Wenlock Hospital

Mangaluru, Nov 07, 2014: The North Indian Merchants Association donated water purifier unit to district Wenlock Hospital, on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti, here on Thursday November 6.
The Hospital medical superintendent Dr Rajeshwari after inaugurating the water purifier said that the patients from 17 districts are arriving at state-run Wenlock Hospital for medical treatment, while the water purifier will be a great help for the patients to have pure drinking water, said Dr Rajeshwari. She thanked North Indian Merchants Association for their health concern on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti.
Speaking on the occasion, North Indian Merchants Association president Balwinder Singh said innumerable people in India are deprived for pure drinking water that sustains well being. At this backdrop, the social welfare and voluntary organizations had to come forward in providing water purifiers, said Balwinder. He also said the Association will contribute its mite towards the needs of Wenlock Hospital, added Balwinder.
The traders Shivakumar Sharma, Anil Bekal, Kishore Patel, Muralidar Ramani, Kishan Purohit, Kishore Chawla and others were present on the occasion.
