Mangalore, 26 Oct 2014: The union railway minister D V Sadananda Gowda said that all transactions he has till date are transparent and clarified that he has not used the party’s or the governments money to increase his personal assets.
Addressing the media persons here on Sunday October 26, minister Sadananda said, ‘The hue and cry was made on my acquiring new assets after I was sworn in as union minister because I had purchased a building in November 2014 to which the Federal Bank had granted me a loan of Rs 8 crore. But I had kept the loan amount in the bank and that loan was claimed in May 2014 after the general elections. Along with this, I also received Rs 2 crore as advance from those who wanted to be tenants in my buildings which is in my bank account. These are transactions which are responsible for the increase in my assets,’ said minister Sadananda.
‘The past 2 to 3 months have been a tough one which has also made me desperate in few situations. The allegations since last 3 days have created a lot of pain in me. But In my political career of 25 years I have kept everything transparent and all my transactions are transparent,’ said minister Sadananda.
‘My submission has been wrongly interpreted,’ said minister Gowda denying to take action on NGO for publishing the false report.
