Abu Dhabi: ISC set for First Throw ball tournament of season on Oct 31

Abu Dhabi, Oct 23, 2014: India Social and Cultural Centre (ISC) here will be organizing indoor third UAE open throw ball championship – 2014 at ISC premises here on Friday October 31 at 8.30am.

 

Both previous editions of the tournament held at ISC were a huge success especially due to high level of sportsmanship displayed by reputed teams. All the top reputed Throwball teams from all over UAE are expected to take part in this year’s championship. The Championship will be organized in a professional manner, in which the technical officials will officiate the tournament and the matches will be played on ‘League-Cum-Knock out Basis’. The tournament will be held outdoor for both gents and ladies category. Each team will consist of 9 players and maximum 3 substitutes. Tournament is open only to Indian expatriates in UAE.

 

 

The cash prize and trophy will be awarded to the team securing the first place and second place.

 

Individual trophies will be awarded to the team players securing first and second place (maximum 12 players including substitute per team).

 

The individual awards: Best Smasher, Best Defender and Best All-Rounder of the Championship will be awarded.

 

Lunch and first-aid facilities will be provided to participants on the day of the competition. The copy of rules and regulations and further details regarding the championship will be sent to all the teams who confirm their participation. Last date for confirming your entries will be 25th October 2014.

 

The entry fee for each team will be AED 250 (AED Two Hundred Fifty only).
