Mangalore: Unidentified dead body found at Attavar; police suspect of migrant

Mangalore, Oct 21, 2014: An unidentified dead body of a man was found near Easy Day Shopping mall at Attavar here on Monday October 20 morning.

 

As per the primary investigation the cause of the death is still a mystery and yet to be disclosed after the autopsy.

 

Pandeshwar police who arrived on the spot have taken the body to district Wenlock Hospital for autopsy.

 

 

It is significant that the booming construction sector is attracting migrant labourers from northern Indian states who arrive in large numbers by trains at Mangalore Central railway station that is just a mile away from the spot and settle in the nearby places.

 

The police suspect the dead body is of a migrant labourer and investigations are in progress.
