Mangalore: BJP sate president Prahlad Joshi alleges Congress engaged in hate politics

Mangalore, 19 Oct 2014: Karnataka BJP president Prahlad Joshi said that Congress-led state government is engaged in hate politics by brutally assaulting an activist of Hindu outfit and also scraping Justice Somashekar Report on church attack.
Addressing the media persons at district BJP office here on Sunday October 19, Prahlad Joshi said that by scraping Justice Somashekar report on church attack, it’s trying to tarnish the image of Sangha Parivar and the BJP. It seems to prove BJP and its allies guilty.
‘It is evident that through this act, Congress is trying to curb the BJP which is being tried since the times of Nehru. The Chief Minister Siddharamiah should realize that the party had withstood against all its rivals and will be in the future,’ said Prahlad Joshi.
Lamenting over the assault on an activist of Hindu outfit at Kavoor police station, here Prahlad Joshi said that the police department is dancing to the tune of the Congress leaders. ‘The police officers must stop working as the Congress agents. Looking at the way the victim was beaten, it seemed it was the scene from emergency rule. Even though he was not into any crime the police have taken the law into their hand even disrespecting the judiciary,’ said Prahlad Joshi.
Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, former MLA Yogish Bhat, district BJP secretary Kishore Rai were present on the occasion.
Earlier, the party workers distributed laddu’s to celebrate the victory of BJP in assembly polls in Maharashtra and Haryana states.
