Mangalore: City cops arrest 2 persons accused in murder case at Shaktinagar

Mangalore, 13 Oct 2014: The city police arrested 2 persons accused in the murder case of forty-six-year-old Hameed alias Don Hammi, here on Sunday October 12. Hameed was slain at nearby Vaidyanat temple, Shaktinagar, here a few days ago.
The arrested has been identified as twenty-seven-year-old Harish, a resident of Maroli here and twenty-year-old Abhishek, a resident of Nagori, here. The key accused financier Bipin Rai is absconding.
Sources informed that Hameed had borrowed Rs 35 lac from financier Bipin Rai and the former refused to pay off the money. It has caused enmity between Bipin and Hameed. Meanwhile, Bipin hired Harish and Abhishek to kill Hameed. Both Harish and Abhishek hatched the plan and asked Hameed to come to Shaktinagar and murdered him. The body of Hameed was found at nearby Vaidyanat temple, Shaktinagar, here on October 7.
Both the accused Harish and Abhishek were produced before the judge who has awarded judicial custody.
