Mangalore: Nitte Group of Edu Institutions donate Rs 25 lac for J & K flood victims

Mangalore, 13 Oct 2014: Nitte University vice chancellor Dr S Ramanand Shetty handed over a department draft of Rs 25 lac to Dakshina Kannada district Deputy Commissioner A B Ibrahim, here on Saturday October 11, towards Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund, in order to rehabilitate the recent flood victims of Jammu & Kashmir. The amount was pooled from students, teaching and office staff of Nitte Group of education institutions in Mangalore and Bangalore.  
 
 
Nitte University pro-chancellor Dr M S Moodittaya, K S Hegde Medical Academy (KSHEMA) dean Dr Satish Kumar Bhandary, Jammu & Kashmir native students studying in Nitte University were present on the occasion.

 

Deputy Commissioner A B Ibrahim appreciated the noble deed of Nitte University chancellor N Vinay Hegde, teaching and office staff, students of Nitte Group of education institutions for their noble deed.
