Dubai: Omzoorche Dive celebrated Nativity Feast

Dubai, 21 Sep 2014: A large number of parishioners of Omzoor Known as ”Omzoorche Dive“ residing in U.A.E. celebrated this year’s Monti-fest at Regency Community Hall , Dubai on Friday, September 19 at 12:00 Noon under the leadership of President Mr. Arthur D,souza.

 

Prayer to worship Mother Mary was led by Ms. Jenith  and group followed by offering flowers by children, young and elders while singing the hymns ‘SakkadSangathaMellyam’ & ‘MoriyekHogolsiam’. Blessed Novem mixed in milk was served to all.

 

The program was compered by Mr. George Menezes who took charge of the entire proceedings with grace.

 

A warm welcome was addressed to the gathering by President Mr. Arthur D’souza. The cultural programme commenced with a warm-up session followed by dance performance by Anil Spinoza & Team and JoystonD’souza& Team.Comedy Skit was performed by Ivan & Alwyn. Songs were sung by Mr. LancyNoronhna, Miss LenitaNoronhna&Mrs. MeenaNoronhna in Konkani, Tulu and Hindi.Music Was arranged by Mr. Arun Carlo, DJ by Lancy&SteavenVarious games for children, elders and couples were organized. Omzoorians with their relatives and friends gathered to celebrate the Monthi feast.

 

Traditional food (NovemJevan) was served during the occasion. Theprogram concluded with the Housie Housie game conducted by Mr. SteevanD’souza& Mr. Nelson Robin D’souza. Attractive prizes were distributed to the winners.

 

All committee members extended their maximum cooperation and support for the success of the event.

 

Vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Arthur Pereira who thanked every member for supporting and strengthening Omzoorche Dive and also requested them to continue their generosity in future.
