Mumbai: St. Vincent Pallotti Church celebrated Monthi Feast

Mumbai, 15 Sep 14: The new harvest festival on 14th September 2014 at St. Vincent Pallotti Church , Vijay Nagar, Marol,  Andheri East.  Fr. Charles Fernandes who is the parish priest said the prayers and all the parishioners joined the procession for the new harvest meal which was organized in the church hall.

 

There were more than 500 people who responded positively and even though it was a short announcement parishioners participated in large numbers.  There was cultural activities, dance and song performance.  Kenny and Soccurine were additionally added entertainers for the show.  Mr. Joy Paladka & Mr. Joy Crasta, President of St. Joseph Konkani Welfare Association, Mira Road along with their team extended their tremendous support, as this was the first time the new harvest meal celebration was held at St. Vincent Pallotti Church.

 

 

The food was highly appreciated by everyone and this was catered by McRonnie’s.  Every parishioner joined in serving as they felt it was a community gathering at Vincent Pallotti Church. People who missed out, later in the evening complimented the entire team and organizers of this new harvest meal and said as this was a grand success the Pallottines look forward for the celebration next year.   The main event co-ordinator Eugene Dsouza and self (Ronnie Goveas) with the support of Fr. Charles, Parish priest and Parish Council Members contributed in spreading the news and motivated people to come forward for this new harvest meal.
