Next, Pritish Burton D’Sa who had cleared CA examination recently in first attempt was felicitated by Rev. Fr. Joswey Fernandes while Ms. Feline D’Souza read out the achievements of Pritish Burton.

In his message, Pritish Burton D’Sa said that youth from Moodubelle parish should try to appear for competitive examinations. If one has determination and follow hard work, he or she can achieve success.

Prizes to the winners of various competitions were distributed. Rev. Fr. Joswey Fernandes gave away prizes for the winners in singing competition which was arranged for all the age groups right from 4 years to 74 years.

In his message, Rev. Fr. Joswey Fernandes congratulated ICYM for their efforts in organizing the Talents Day. He said that every individual has been endowed with many hidden talents by Almighty God and ICYM has tried to bring forth these talents by providing them an opportunity.

Rev. Fr. Roshan D’Souza distributed prizes for the winners in lucky games and Rev. Fr. P. Raj gave away prizes to the Gurkars of the wards whose members had won in various competitions.

The most awaited cultural programme followed with children from primary presenting their group dance.  Different associations and wards and brothers from Assisi Nilaya presented various programmes such as skits, dances and  songs, The youngest winner in singing competition-Syreeta Fernandes, aged 4 years and the eldest, Mrs. Eliza Pereira, aged 74 years also presented their winning songs.  The associations that presented different cultural programmes included: iCYM, YCS, Altar Servers, Catholic Sabha, Stree Sanghttan and some wards.

Rev. Fr. Joswey Gave away prizes to two wards based on the highest number of members present in the hall  at 3.15 pm. This was an innovation of Rev. Fr. Reginald Pinto to promote punctuality. In this category, Sacred Heart I Ward secured first prize and St. Lawrence Ward secured second prize.

The ward championship on the basis of their participation in various competitions and cultural programme was cornered by Sacred Heart I Ward with 139 points and claimed the Rolling Shield and Sacred Heart II Ward was the runners up.

As Co-director, I acknowledge the meticulous planning, and well execution of Cultural Games and Talentancho Divos Program Coordinators. Neville Wilson D Souza and Roylin Rodrigues both of St Peter II Ward for Talentancho Divos; Felina D Souza of St Roque II ward, Joshal D Mello of St Ann II ward, Gladson Alva of Sacred Heart II ward Raxon Mathis for Cultural Game - were the Program Coordinators. These young people for last two months were in constant touch with the Gurkars, encouraging them to participate, listening to their suggestions and implementing it as per the satisfaction of the people of Moodubelle Parish. They sought constant guidance from me. The success of the Games and the Program belongs to these leaders and the whole team of ICYM Moddubelle. I am really prod of these talented youth of Moodubelle. May GOD bless them.
