Mangalore: Ganeshotsava idols immersed in water bodies after worshiping across city

Mangalore, Sep 01, 2014 : The idols of Lord Ganesha worshiped during Ganeshotsav across the city were immersed in water bodies across the city on Sunday August 31. 

 

Meanwhile, Siddi Vinayaka Trust, Bunts Hostel, here organized the colorful procession of Lord Ganesha idol mounted on tableaus accompanied by traditional music to immerse at the Mahamayee temple lake.  The innumerable devotees participated in the procession to bid adieu Vignanivaraka Ganesha for a blissful times ahead.

 

 

The idol of Lord Ganesha worshipped at Mangaladevi temple was ceremoniously immersed in Arabian Sea.
