Hassan: Graduation Day held at St Philomena’s First Grade College for Women

Hassan, 26 Aug 2014: St Philomena’s First Grade College for Women organized second graduation ceremony at the College auditorium here on Monday August 25. It’s the only full-fledged college for women in Karnataka run by the Sisters of Charity Education Society, Mangalore.
One-hundred-eight students graduated this year in commerce and business management.
Sr Marceline Veigas presided the function and administered the oath to the graduates.
The College principal Sr Jasmine Correa spoke on the significance of the event and conveyed best wishes to the graduates.
Dr Sr Gladys Menezes, Snehalaya Hospital, Solur, Bangalore, was the chief guest of the occasion.
Professor Basappa K V, principal of N D R K First Grade College, here was the guest of honor distributed certificates to the graduating students.
The toppers of BBM and B Com were felicitated.
The students presented prayer dance. David Kumar welcomed the gathering. Sadanandaswamy proposed vote of thanks. Roopa Rao and Raghav compered the programme.
