Bantwal: Minister U T Khader convenes progress review meeting

Bantwal, Aug 26, 2014: The rain water is flowing on the road itself that damages it. What actions have you taken in this regard? Despite borewells, installation of pumps; the people have water woes why its not efficiently supplied to different localities? queried the state health minister U T Khader.
The minister U T Khader queried the officers during the progressive review meeting of Mangalore legislative assembly constituency, at SGSRY auditorium, B C Road, here on Monday August 25.
Its due to electric poles along the road, the smooth flow of storm water is hindered, said the civic engineer. The minister Khader advised both civic and Mescom departments to coordinate in this regard.
Pudu gram panchayat vice president Mohammed Sharif said that the officers are taking their own decisions without consulting the village council at the limits of Pudu gram panchayat. Other members also joined their voices in support of Sharif.
The minister Khader advised the police officers to install CCTV at B C Road junction to curb crimes and ease traffic congestion.
The minister Khader also advised to hold Hobli-level Ahaar Adalat, to have cordial relations with village accountants and elected representatives.
TP president Yashwant Deraje, steering Committee president Ida Suresh, ZP member Santosh Kumar Rai, TP member Padmashekar Jain, Sharif, Ephraim Sequeira, CEO Cyprian Miranda, Tahsildar B S Malleswamy were present at the dais.
