Mangalore: KSHEMA organizes CME programme-Current UK Guidelines in Managing Cancer

Mangalore, Aug 19, 2014 : The department of general surgery K S Hegde Medical Academy, Nitte University organised a continuing medical education (CME) programme at their seminar hall here recently.

 

The eminent surgeon Dr Vinutha Shetty, consultant upper gastro-intestinal general surgeon, Royal Preston Hospital, United Kingdom delivered a talk on ‘Current UK Guidelines in managing esophageal and stomach cancer.’ 

 

 

K S Hegde Medical Academy (KSHEMA) dean Dr Sathish Bhandary inaugurated the CME programme. 

 

Dr K R Bhagavan, all the faculty members, postgraduate students of surgery and medical students were present on the occasion.

 

The talk was followed by presentation and live surgical workshop on suturing and stapling techniques conducted by ETHICON Company.
