Karkal: Pratiba Karanji programme ideal platform to exhibit real talent - S Shetty

Karkal, Aug 13, 2014 : The extra-curricular activities along with studies play key role in shaping the future of students by exhibiting their inherent talent. The programmes such as Pratibha Karanji are the platforms that can enhance the real talent of students, said ZP member Kedinje Supreet Shetty.
Supreet was speaking after inaugurating Pratiba Karanji programme for the students of Mundkoor and Nandalike cluster level primary school at St Joseph’s School, Belman, near here on Tuesday August 12.
Belman gram panchayat president Shankar Kundar presided the programme.
TP member Xavier D’Mello, education co-ordinator Jayanti Shetty, Udupi district teachers Association secretary Laxmikant Bhat, taluk aided school teachers Association president V K Rao Nandalike, Belman parish council vice president Gregory Menezes, Sylvester D’Mello, Nandalike cluster head Krishna Naik, Mundkoor cluster head Chandrakant D’Sa, Nitte CRP Gretta Rebello, Belman gram panchayat member Prabhakar Shetty, Satish Shetty, school betterment Committee president Ronald D’Souza were the chief guests of the occasion.
St Joseph’s School head teacher Sr Monica welcomed the gathering. The teacher Vincent D’Souza proposed vote of thanks. B Pundalika Marate compered the programme.
Punarukare School teacher Devdas Patkar was the key juror of the competitions. Nandalike School teacher Sadanand Shetty assisted Devdas.
Belman parish assistant priest fr J B D’Souza, Bro Arun D’Souza distributed the prizes to the winners of Pratibha Karanji.
Over 1,000 students of 14 schools of Nandalike cluster and 13 schools of Mundkoor cluster participated in the competitions.
