What a nail biting end! All credit should go to Ishant Sharma for staying on the crease for 106 minutes and facing 92 balls to make 31 runs out of a partnership of 81 runs with V.V.S. Laxman. Congratulations Team India! What a fight back and win!

The risk of heartdisease, stroke, cancer is 20 to 30% higher when compared to non smokers. Environment has toxic substances due to pollution every individual is exposed to it, apart from that our genetic makeup, food habits, lifestyle factors also contribute. Majority of non smokers are exposed to passive smoking. Three different types of tobacco smoke are produced: Mainstream smoker this is smoke directly inhaled by the smoker through a burning cigarette.
Exhaled mainstream smoke – this is smoke breathed out by the smoker.
Side stream smoke – this is smoke which drifts from the burning end of a Cigarette.
Environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) is the combination of exhaled mainstream smoke and side stream smoke. Side stream smoke contains many cancer causing chemicals and toxic substances. In some cases their levels are thirty times higher than in the smoke inhaled by the smoker. For example, compared to mainstream smoke, side stream smoke contains greater amounts of ammonia, benzene, carbon monoxide, nicotine and some carcinogens from the same amount of burnt tobacco. However, because side stream smoke is mixed with air before being inhaled, the concentration may be less.we are at risk

I regret to inform that JDS is also not playing clean. BSY had bribed and bought 5 MLAs under operation Kamala. In this country there is no control over corruption, It starts from above right from the event of choosing MLAs, M.P. Candidates, IAS?IFS services to down the lane like apponitment of a teacher, Village accountant etc. JDS are not exception.
A V.A expects to be bribed for issue of family living certificate( santhathi Nakshe- rs 500?) for R.T.C. (Root To Corruption) so much amount? These are all root level corruption and Ministers Katta s son, BSY s Son are recent instances in News. Therefore if the JDS has to try to check corruption let H.D. DeveGowda and Sons give all the unaccounted money to develop Ram Nagar; BSY to Develop Shimoga, Dr VSAcharya to Udupi rural Roads and Bridges and thus lead by Example. There is no leader worth mentioniing in congress who can claim exception. Hence no comments are necessary. The JDS comments on bribery is not relevant, because Anand Asnotikar changed over ,as per press reports, 5-0 crores,to be BJP MLA. Bribery and corruption is every where promoted and encouraged by JDS also. This note does not support corruption or bribery at all.

The general public of India are the most tolerable people, but the political parties create this difference between rilegions for thier benefits. Now the comman people understand the real issue, to bury this enimity and move on in building a strong nation. Already we have seen the strength of Indian patience with this verdict on Ayodhya. I wish commensense prevail in all and lets see to build a powerful country for all of us to call , Yes I am an Indian, no one can divide us. I hope all the parties will accept the verdict.

I am a non-smoker. I intend to remain so for life. But I interact with smokers, most of them chain smokers, regularly and daily. I have to. In that process, I passively smoke. But surprises me is that these chain smokers seem to enjoy good health; they eat, drink and live well, better than I. Or it seems so, to me. Any explanations?

Informative article by Dr. Eugene, which provides all the history behind these games. This will be the third time that India to hosts an opening ceremony after the 1951 Asian Games with former prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru in attendance. Thirty-one years later the Nehru stadium showcased one of the best opening ceremonies ever in the 1982 Asian Games. The inclusion of wrestling, archery and tennis should help India considerably to improve upon its medals tally of 50 including 22 gold medals at the 2006 Melbourne Games. There India had finished fourth. All the best to team India.
