Father Valerian is a household name in Moodubelle from the time he came to St. Lawrence Church as Assistant Priest in the mid 60\ s. He was an excellent preacher and educator. In fact, he was and still is an inspiration to me personally from the time I was studying in the High School. He taught me Catechism in the final year of my High School and evoked in me a desire for spirituality and religious life. Ever since I have been in touch with him. His coming back to St. Lawrence as its Pastor this time was welcomed by every one great expectations. Fr. Valerian, not only lived up to that expectation but surprised us all in what he could accomplish in those short three years. May St. Lawrence, Deacon and Martyr bless him abundantly with health and happiness in the afternoon of his life.

Prof. Allwyn D Sa was my English lecturer at St. Aloysius College, Mangalore. A truly awesome fellow! I loved his classes.

We, Margaret and Urban Lobo wish to whole-heartedly thank Dr.Eugine D\ Souza for paying glowing tribute to our late father/father-in-law, Robert Alva and showing his life events chronologically. The writer has painstakingly given Alva\ s life account from birth to death(1924 - 2007). He has immortalized Alva who had walked his exemplary life journey for 83 years by setting a model example for future generations to come.

There are two set of rules. One for politicians and influencials and othe other one is for common hard working and leading patriotic life. For the latter, to get a simple paper takes few months to couple of years, while major documents and impossible tasks can be complete in four days for those come under first set of rules!!

As per I know Rev.Fr.Lobo helped lot of people in belle without looking what his religion. Today I am in good position because of Fr.lobo who help me to study in high school by giving free books, no fees, etc. Thanks to bellevision for writing about Fr.lobo.Unfortunatly I could not meet Fr. lobo after he has been transferred from Belle.
