Well Done Kittall. yes she is the most deserving candidate for this great honour. Congratulations Wilma on bagging the most prestigious Kittall Yuva Puraskar. It is the fruit of your hard work and selfless service to Konkani literature that you have been bestowed upon this important literary awards. While congratulating once again wishing you all the best. India always starts as favourites in India. There is no doubt in my mind that it will be an interesting series. India has a decent team. Yes, they are inexperienced but that doesn t mean they cannot win. Australia on the other hand will be severely tested by the conditions, weather, spin bowling etc.
Every time there is a series involving both these, champion sides one must not underestimate their strength and stamina to fight it out and to derive a victory. I m eagerly waiting for a contest within a contest and the contest is between India’s young new inexperienced players versus Australia’s inexperienced batsmen. Both teams are inexperienced and that makes for a wonderful contest. Champion teams are ready to put their best foot forward even without the retired players. It will be a series full of ups n downs there will be a chance for the young players to show their cricketing talents from both sides.
Rev Fathers of Vianny home are great priests of our time. Even though they are on their sick bed, during the time of their prime priest hood they gave their perpetual guidance worked for the betterment of the society and looked after in their respected parishes. We condole his death and pray for his soul. John V Tauro, Budget House Shivabhagh Mangalore.
The whole world knows that "Kohinoor" belongs to India. It is there in Britain for safe keeping. Why bring it back to India and spend millions to safeguard it ultimately to be replaced by a fake by some smart thief? We have spent enough money on other "kohinoors" like Afzal Guru and Ajmal Kassab only to hang them in the end. In this case "a bird in the bush is better than one on hand".
Thank you Alphs! for approving my opinion. It is a good move by RCB. He is matured as a player and is capable of handling pressure that is proved by him in the past two years and also he has the experience of captaining the u19 Indian team and won the world cup for India. I think this time Bangalore have a much balanced team. As you know, I have shifted my allegiance to RR, since Dravid became the captain of Rajasthan Royals!!! Not to… Anymore!!
A fond farewell, Pauline maushi. My sincere condolences to each relative named above with whom I share so many adorable memories in Belle, Bhandup, Kanjur Marg, and Doha. RIP
Guru s must lead by Example!!! This is politics! Why not people buy property with hard earned money? Leave the govt land for genuine future development and for our future generation!! If we eat everything....what is left for our future generation!!!
I do agree with Francis.. Yes, he is a talented and aggressive cricketer and deserves to be captain. Wishing him all success...Hopefully RCB come out with flying colours this time..
This is really a big opportunity for Virat kohli to show his talent as captain. If he can lead RCB by controlling his over aggression (some people call it as anger, ego) then it will surely help his chances of leading national team. RCB deserves a young, aggressive, thoughtful captain like Kohli. Maybe he will succeed Dhoni as the national captain in the near future!
IT IS PROUD FOR EVERY INDIAN. A LEADING AIR ASIA JUJED THAT TATA GROUP IS GRATE ROLL TO DEVLOP THE INDIAN MARKET
The Economic survey tabled by Sushil Modi is nothing but statistical manipulation. What is the growth in electricity supply to villages? If there is growth then why lakhs and lakhs Bihari people going to other state for earning livelihood and doing odd jobs of pulling cycle rickshaws and women and girls doing petty work of cleaning of utensils and JHADOO POCHA. Is there any decline in it. Delhi main to aisa lagta hai ki pura Bihar hi ooth kar aa gaya hai. It may be another thing that there is growth in personal wealth/assets of politicians in Bihar.
Dear Baptist wonderful creation very nice keep it up......
Dear sir,i want your ration card so plz get me i take the ration again. Thank you
It is an interesting news story from this correspondent. The subject is one of the foremost events that will define this decade with global impacts, almost like the end of cold war (11/9) and the rise of fundamentalist islam (9/11).
Middle class Indians have split morality. They condemn corruption in public. But are corrupt in private. They justify personal private corruption as a necessity (I cannot defeat the system). Who is this system ? someone else but me!
Anna Hazare and his anti-corruption movement began well. But it lost steam about 14 months back. When and because it allied and took organizational support from right-wing forces including BJP proxies. Anna s credibility dived. His three days fast in Mumbai (28-30 Dec 2011) was a washout.
Arvind Kejriwal took cue from this failure and split from his mentor on differences on strategy. Arvind is a man with a purpose which should be close to every right thinking Indian. His shock and awe tactics, sort of intellectual bush war tactics of Naxalites were the right too, but for a flaw: its dependence on prime time TV. The owners of prime time TV soon found out that he is dangerous to their business!
Arvind has to find a new medium to reach the people and create the critical mass required for a revolution. Will he find it? I hope he will. I want he should. For our sake, for the sake of honest men and women in India. It would be a tragedy if he fails.
As you say, world’s first environment friendly Kuwait Govt, doing and spending for a right cause. I wish to land and see the environment friendly airport in my next trip to Europe. Thanks to belle team.
Recently i had a visit to my native place M belle and found the proper roadwork especially in front of the church gate. The elevation of the road is raised to its required height and there should not be any water clogging problem in the near future. Now it is inevitable to keep the drainages clean and tidy, or be prepared to the flashfloods in the low lying shops in next mansoon.
Very Nice poem Mr. Baptist...... Good one...Keep Writing....
Annaji you can blame only yourself! It is because of your unstable twists and U-turns. Your tail started a new company and doing same circus like other veterans!!
Extremely sad news.Dear Sevri Mausi, Ijjab and all family members,Please accept our heartfelt condolences on sudden demise of dear Robbubaab.May his soul rest in peace.
Congratulations Lisa Sthalekar! to a great all round player. Being an Australian of Indian origin, I followed your cricketing feats very keenly. You definitely have done Australia as well as India proud. All the best for your post retirement life and would love to see you associated with the game even in your retirement. The retirement of one of the best women cricketers we have ever seen. Lisa was such a role model to every aspiring young cricketer.
I have watched her playing very often and she is a sportive girl, an all rounder in the strict sense. Could bat, bowl and field no surprise that she played more than 12 years. Well done Lisa! You have set the bar for every other cricketer to follow. As a cricket enthusiast, am going to miss you!

First a joke:
Teacher: What is the difference in rain in USA and India?
Pokri Student: In USA, five minutes of, no water can be seen on the road. In India, five minutes of rain, road cannot be seen only water.
This problem is acute through-out in India, especially urban areas. In Mumbai, it is acute. The civic administration is failing firstly by not enforcing civic discipline on civilians, secondly not imposing fines and business closures if defaulted, and thirdly not creating a system of routine maintenance and periodic upgrades to drain systems.
Politicians (GP members, corporators)get opportunities to be good samaritans or be condemned for inaction.
Heartfelt condolences to his members. May God console them during this critical time. May his soul rest in peace.Eternal rest grant unto him o Lord.
Dear Sevry Mausi and family. This is really shocking news. Kindly accept our heartfelt condolence. May his soul rest in peace
