MLA Lobo urges people of DK district to maintain peace for prosperity

Mangaluru, 15 Jul 2017: MLA J R Lobo urged the people of Dakshina Kannada district to maintain communal harmony, with peace and tolerance to fellowmen.

 

In a communiqué, MLA Lobo stated that Dakshina Kannada district was known for communal harmony, where people of different faith lived in harmony since time memorial.  Spoiling this image for political gains is unjustified.

 

Mangaluru is already got the tag of Smart City that has been closely observed by the nation. The city has got first slot to be the most preferred city to live in the world. Dakshina Kannad district is the top education hub in the country, where students from all over India come to study. The situation has to be conducive to set up more industries that would create more job opportunities and FDI, said MLA Lobo.

 

The communal disharmony hampers the development of district, with investors shunning to invest in industries, added MLA Lobo.

 

He urged the people to be united for the development of district and live in peace among the brethrens in society.
