President Visits Udupi Sri Krishna Math

 

Udupi, 18 Jun 2017: Indian president Pranab Mukherjee visited Udupi Sri Krishna Math as part of his visit to Karnataka on Sunday. The president also met Pejavar Seer Vishvesha Theertha Swamiji and other seers of the Udupi Ashta Mathas on the occasion.  Later he laid foundation stone of Super Specialty Hospital of BRS Health and Research Institute in Rajagana of the Math.

 

 

Earlier, Pranab Mukherjee was reached Mangaluru by an Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft and later moved to Udupi in a chopper. Shops, commercial establishments and others near Udupi Math were remain closed in the wake of the arrival of the president. President was accompanied by Karnataka State Health Minister KR Ramesh Kumar, Minister for Bengaluru Development and Town Planning KJ George, Industrialist BR Shetty and others.
