Mangaluru International Airport to start e-visa facility from Apr 1

Mangaluru, 29 Mar 2017: Mangaluru International Airport is all set to begin an e-visa facility for international passengers from April 1; the airport will be the second in the state to provide the facility after Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport.

 

Director of Mangaluru Airport, Radhakrishna informed that two exclusive counters would be set up at the terminal building for foreign travellers landing in Mangaluru who wanted to make use of the facility; they would also be required to scan their fingerprints.

 

He stated that the facility would be available only for passengers who had tourist, medical and business visas.

 

Meanwhile, officials have opined that for a faster procedure, it would be better if passengers had printouts of the e-visa instead of soft copies.
