Udupi: Invites of District Raita Samavesh – 2017 released

Udupi, 19 Jan 2017: The Krushika Sangha organized the release of invite for Raita Samavesha – 2017 at Hotel Residency auditorium, here on Wednesday, January 18. Raita Samavesha – 2017 will be held at Sharada Mantap, here on Thursday, February 26.

 

The senior teacher and social activist B Pundalika Marate Shirva after releasing the invitation, said although the farming is the backbone of the nation, in reality, the farmers are reeling under great difficulties. The united struggle would improve the situation of farmers. Krushika Sangha ought to take the leadership in educating the farmers’ fraternity to avail state facilities meant for them.

 

 

Krushika Sangha - district president Bantakal Ramakrishna Sharma in his presidential address said that Krushika Sangha has been maintaining the interest of farmers through struggles since the past 16 years. It’s waging struggle against ant-farmers police of governments. It’s also organizing seminars, demonstrations with experts highlighting the modern farming methods during farmers’ conventions. He also urged the members to share their proven ideas with their fellow farmers in neighborhoods.

 

The vice president Dinesh Shetty Herga was present.

 

The general secretary Srinivas Bhat Kudi delivered the preliminary address. The vice president M Srinivas Ballal welcomed the gathering. Venugopal proposed vote of thanks. The secretary Ravindra Poojary Gujjarabettu compered the programme.
