Udupi: Healthy Baby Contest & Info Meet held at Shirva

Udupi, 29 Nov 2016: At the joint aegis of community health centre, Shirva, near here and Rotary Club – Shirva, info meet on healthy baby contest – child health was held at the health centre on Sunday, November 27.

 

Associate Professor Dr Ravishankar Kulavarma of Ayurveda College, Muniyalu, near here inaugurated the info meet and offered info on the role of mother in caring for new born baby and health tips.

 

 

Over 100 parents were present along with their children.

 

The prizes were distributed to the winners of children from 1 year to 3 years.

 

Dr Santosh, Dr Bharat and staff of community health centre were present.

 

Rotary zonal assistant governor Dr Gururaj, past president Melvyn D’Souza, Honnayya Shettigar, Asha activists, Anganawady activists were present.

 

K R Patkar compered the programme. Rotary secretary Sunil Cabral proposed vote of thanks.
