Udupi: Foundation laid for proposed Crematorium at Kattingeri - Belle

Udupi, 12 Oct 2016: The foundation was laid for constructing crematorium on a plot of land sanctioned by the state government at Mulikambla in Kattingeri village at the limits of Belle gram panchayat, here on Tuesday, October 11. It will be built at the cost of Rs 10 lac.

 

 

RSS district core Committee member Pangala Panduranga Shanbagh after laying the foundation for crematorium during a function organized by Crematorium Development Committee, Belle – Kattingeri, near here said that crematorium is essential for last rites of human beings as per the contemporary practice. It was a long-pending demand of the locals and hoped its completed at the earliest.

 

Kutyar Prasad Shetty, Committee office bearers Rajendra Shetty, Sudhakar Poojary, Krishna Acharya and Sasidar Wagle, VHP president Jaya Serigar, Tilakraj Poojary, Deepak Moodubelle, Mahesh Patkar, Sachin Moodubelle, Varun Acharya, Veerendra, Belle gram panchayat member Gururaj Bhat and others were present.
