B C Road Railway Station gets facelift for union minister’s visit

Bantwal, 29 Sep 2016: The railway station of B C Road, here getting new look. The construction of compound wall, welcome arch, toilet and renovation of waiting room is under way in a war footing manner.

 

The general public and daily train commuters are aghast over the beautification of railway station since the past few weeks. The works are hurriedly under way at the backdrop of union railway minister’s visit. The pleas for infrastructural developments that were neglected for many years are under way to complete the works ahead of minister’s visit.

 

The union railway minister Suresh Prabhu will be arriving to inaugurate Adarsh railway station at Puttur on Saturday, October 1. He will also visit B C Road railway station and proceed to Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala to attend valedictory function of alcohol de-addiction camp.

 

Meanwhile, the daily commuters are happy over the infrastructural developments at B C Road at par with other developed stations across the country.
