Udupi, 19 Sep 2016: The parents however they are educated, they might have learnt about their mother tongue, traditions and cultures, religion from their grandparents. The elderly are likely to forget their sufferings in the company of their grandchildren. The grandchildren who spend their childhood in the company of their grandparents are indeed fortunate. Meanwhile, its unfortunate that the nuclear families deprive the children from the company of elderly, said Wilson D’Souza, vice president of Our Lady of Health parish, Shirva, near here.

Wilson was the chief guest during the Elderly Day celebrations held at Don Bosco Children’s Nursery, Shirva on Friday September 16.

I agree with Mr. Wilson about the bond between Grandparents and our little children. We all had this opportunity to be with our Grandparents and we feel bad for those little one s when they have taken away from their grandparents and deprived from grandparents love which showers with blessings upon them.
