Bantwal: Rev officials seize 360 truckloads of sand illegally stored at Mugeru

Bantwal, 27 Aug 2016: The revenue officials seized nearly 360 truckloads of sand illegally stored at Mugeru, near Siddakatte, at the limits of Sangabettu, here on Friday August 26.

 

 

Bantwal Tahsildar Purandandar Hegde led the operation along with geology department official Girish Mohan, public works department engineer Arun Prakash, revenue inspector Naveen, village accountant Janardhan and taluk panchayat staff Satish.

 

The investigations are underway to identify the owner who stored the sand.
