Adani Foundation distributes notebooks, stationery to students of Belman School

Karkala, 29 Jun 2016: Adani Foundation in collaboration with Udupi Power Corporation Limited (UPCL) distributed notebooks and writing materials to 235 students of St Joseph’s Higher Primary School, Belman, near here on Tuesday June 28.

 

UPCL chief executive officer Kishore Alva after distributing the notebooks and writing materials the notebooks and stationeries are being distributed to the students in the neighbourhood in order to encourage the rural students to excel in studies, distributes plants to promote Vanamahotsav, distributes scholarship to talented students, besides allows visits to UPCL power plant to promote scientific thinking among the students.

 

 

St Joseph’s education institutions correspondent Fr Sunil Joseph Veigas thanked Adani Foundation and UPCL for their social responsibility programme.

 

UPCL associate general manager Girish Navada, manager Ravi Jere was present at the dais.

 

Belman assistant parish priest Fr Joswin Praveen D’Souza, Convent superior Sr Usha Stella, School head teacher Sr Luy Pereira conveyed best wishes.

 

The senior teacher B Pundalika Marate compered the programme. The teacher Vincent Pinto proposed vote of thanks.
