Udupi: Rotary social service activities promote universal brotherhood – Governor

Udupi, 27 Jun 2016: The social welfare activities for universal brotherhood by Rotary Club International (RCI) are indeed noteworthy, said Abhinandan Shetty Kundapura, designated district governor of RCI district 3182.

 

Abhinandan was speaking during the installation ceremony of newly0elected office bearers of RCI – Shirva that was held at Rotary Auditorium, Bantakal, near here on Saturday June 25. Abhinandan administered oath to new president renowned veterinarian Dr Arun Hegde and other office bearers on the occasion.

 

 

The zonal assistant governor Dr Gururaj released Rotary bulletin, Mallika during the programme. The zonal Commandant Vincent D’Souza conveyed best wishes.

 

The talented students were felicitated on the same occasion.

 

The progressive farmer Pilar Michael Ramesh D’Souza and SBI – Shirva branch manager Krishna D S were inducted as new members.

 

Dattatreya Patkar, Raghupati Ithal, William Machado and Raghavendra Nayak introduced the dignitaries.

 

RCI – Shirva exiting president Melvyn D’Souza welcomed the gathering. Rachita Patkar rendered the prayers. The secretary Paul Aranha presented the report. Mathias Lobo and Vishnumurti assisted in the programme. K R Patkar compered the programme. The new secretary Sunil Cabral proposed vote of thanks.
