Sullia youth gets best entrepreneur award

Mangaluru, 28 May 2016: Sullia-based entrepreneur Shreemukha has been awarded with ’The Best Entrepreneur’ award by global payments solutions provider Payoneer. Shreemukha is one among the 10 in the world and the only Indian to get the award, with a cash prize of $1,000, this year.

 

Through the award, Payoneer, which provides online money transfer and e-commerce payment services, recognizes 10 entrepreneurs as it celeb rates its 10th anniversary this year. The company asked entrepreneurs to share their stories of building a path to success. After receiving hundreds of inspirational stories, Payoneer selected 10 winners who embodied the entrepreneurial spirit: vision, perseverance and passion .

 

Shreemukha’s story was: "Being an entrepreneur, I always wanted to become the icon for leadership, creativity and philosophy. After 10 years, I want to see the impact of arts and technology on mankind. That should bring smiles on the faces, togetherness, happiness and joy in everyone’s life. And I should be the reason."

 

Shreemukha has been running a software company called ’Codekey Technology Solutions Private Limited’ at Sullia. The 21-year-old launched a startup titled ’buttistore.com’ a year ago. It is an online store where one can shop for custom art, be it music, painting or sketch art. For those interested in getting customized song, the process is simple. All one needs to do is upload a small description about the person or the subject of the song. If the song is to dedicate for someone, the description can include name, language, mood and memories. Buttistore’s inhouse artistes will compose the poem, make the music, sing and studio-record it and deliver it in a fortnight.

 

Shreemukha did his BCA from SDM College of Business Management in Mangaluru. He was adjudged the ’best out-going student’ award at SDM College. Apart from composing poems and writing articles, he is a software developer.
