Re-installation ceremony of temple deity held near Palli

Karkala, 27 April 2016: The re-installation ceremony of temple deity Umamaheshwari and Durgaparameshwari was held at the reconstructed fabled temple in Adapady, near Palli, here on Monday April 26.

 

 

The Vedic celebrants Mrugesh Bhat Laxmipura, Dayanand Bhat Kalladka and 16 other priests performed the religious rituals at the newly-reconstructed temple, in the presence of temple chief trustee Pundalika Nayak.

 

The free food offerings to all devotees were held on Monday afternoon.

 

The temple trustees Vinod Nayak, Shivaprasad Bhat, Hariprasad Bhat, Vishnuprasad Bhat and Vikrant Nayak also partaken in the religious celebrations.
