Over 100 students donate blood at St Mary’s College, Shirva

Udupi, 10 Feb 2016: At the joint aegis of Lions Club of Shirva – Manchakal, Indian Red Cross Society, KMC Hospital – Manipal, Mogaveera Yuva Sangatane – Bellampalli and G Shankar Family Trust – Ambalapady, twenty-third annual blood camp was held at St Mary’s College, Shirva, near here on Sunday February 7.

 

 

Shirva parish priest and correspondent of St Mary’s education institutions Fr Stany Tauro inaugurated the camp here on Sunday morning.

 

Lions Club of Shirva – Manchakal president Wilson Rodrigues, Mogaveera Sangatane president Ganesh Anchan, KMC – Manipal Dr Pratviraj, St Mary’s College principal Professor Rajan V N, student welfare officer Dr S Padmanabha Bhat, Indian Red Cross Society – St Mary’s College unit director Ratnavati Leena Ferrao, NSS officer Ajit D’Mello, Prakash, Melvyn Aranha, Jaya C Kotian, Rovers and Rangers captains were present.

 

Over one hundred students voluntarily donated their blood on the occasion.
