Sports shapes personality; International Athlete Sulata Kamat

Udupi, 01 Dec 2015: The studies along with sports contribute for personality development of students, said international athlete Sulata Kamat.

 

Sulata was the chief guest during the annual sports day that was organized by SVS and SVK English Medium Schools, Katpady, near here on Monday November 30.

 

 

The Schools correspondent K Satyendra Pai in his presidential address expressed happiness over the sports activities. Rotary Club – Katpady president Appu Poojary, PTA vice president Kalavati Manohar, NRI Gerald Quadros were the guests of honor.

 

The School governing council members Giridar Pai and Srinivas Kini were present at the dais.

 

The students parents Vadiraj Bhat, Prabhakar, Sasikala, Sujata and Shirin Banu and teachers were present.  

 

The School headmaster Devendra Nayak welcomed the programme that began with attractive march-past. Naveen Kamat led the march-past. Bindu and group rendered the prayers. The physical education teacher Soumya Kumari proposed vote of thanks. Uma, Ashwita and Vishalakshi compered the programme.
