VHP/Bajrang Dal units stage peaceful protest at Belman

Karkal, 14 Nov 2015: The local units of VHP and Bajrang Dal – Belman, near here staged peaceful protest on Friday November 13.

 

Despite the call for total bandh, the schools and colleges remained opened as a normal day in Belman. The buses plied to Udupi town, but no buses plied on Karkal – Moodbidri route from Belman.

 

 

The local leaders Sasidar Shetty, Prabhakar Shetty, Janardhan Tantri, Sandeep Poojary, Umesh Naik Sooda, Satish Mada, Nityanand Shetty, Vijay Poojary, Devendra Nayak, Shankar Kunder and others partaken in the peaceful protest at Belman here on Friday.

 

The law enforcement agencies provided heavy security at the location.

 

No untoward incidents were reported.
