Thousands join massive Walkathon opposing Yettinahole

Bantwal, 12 Oct 2015: The massive walkathon that was led by Dakshina Kannada district MP Nalin Kumar Kateel opposing Yettinahole Project further progressed to second day on Sunday October 11. Thousands of people joined in the walkathon against the project.
 
 
The walkathon began from in front of Rakteshwari temple, B C Road, here on Sunday morning, after singing National Anthem.

 

 

BJP district president Pratapsimha Nayak, BJP leaders Rukmaya Poojary, Rajesh Naik Ulipadiguttu, Monappa Bhandary, MLC Ganesh Karnic, Krishna Palemar, Padmanabha Kottary, Sulochana Bhat, G Anand, Devdas Shetty, Ramdas Bantwal, Sanjeev Matandoor, Abdul Razak, Abubakkar, Dinesh Bhandary, Nalini Shetty, Tungappa Bangera, Anand Shamboor, Dinesh Amtoor, Yashwant D, Govind Prabhu, Krishnappa Poojary, Purusha Salian Nettarakere, Shailaja Bhat, Dr Bharat Shetty were present.
 
 
A J Shetty Hospital medical superintendent Dr Prashant Marla led medicos and Bar Association members also joined in the walkathon.
