Udupi: Narayana Guru Schools celebrate Gandhi Jayanti with voluntary labor

Udupi, 09 Oct 2015: Narayana Guru Education Institutions, Padubelle, near here celebrated Gandhi Jayanti and Lalabahadur Shastry Jayanti by voluntary service recently.

 

 

The education campaigner Anantapadmanabha Bhat was the chief guest of the occasion, spoke on the ideals of both Mahatma Gandhi and Lalabahadur Shastry.

 

The school pupil leaders of both Kannada and English medium schools were present at the dais.

 

The School administrator Jinaraj C Salian welcomed the gathering. The Kannada medium school head teacher Usha S proposed vote of thanks. The teacher Arundhati Prabhu compered the programme.
