Karkal: Belman School bids adieu to head teacher Sr Monica

Karkal, 01 Aug 2015: St Joseph’s education institutions, Belman, near here bid adieu to Sr Monica, head teacher of St Joseph’s Higher Primary School, who was transferred to St Lawrence Higher Primary School, Attur, near here on Friday July 31.

 

St Joseph’s education institutions correspondent Fr Lawrence B D’Souza presided the programme here on Friday morning.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Fr Lawrence B D’Souza said that Sr Monica contributed immensely for the growth of education institution and served the poor and downtrodden. She earned the love and respect of teachers and parents of students.

 

Belman assistant parish priest Fr J B Moras, parish council vice president and Alumni Association honorary president Gregory Menezes, Rotary Club – Belman founder president Suryakant Shetty, JCI president Subash Kumar, Belman gram panchayat member Prabhakar Shetty, High School head teacher Anita Kamalini, PTA president Ronald D’Souza, convent superior Sr Usha Stella, school pupil leader Pooja Salian, parents representatives Sumita Nayak, Jayaram Ballaya and Srilata Sharma were present at the dais.

 

St Joseph’s English Medium School head teacher Janet D’Souza, Rotary members Alwyn Neri Pinto and Mervin D’Souza were present.

 

The senior teacher Juliana Moras welcomed the gathering. The teacher Vincent Pinto delivered the introductory address. The teacher Lilly D’Souza proposed vote of thanks. The senior teacher B Pundalika Marate compered the programme.
