Heart-felt condolences paid to Dr Abdul Kalam

Karkal, 31 Jul 2015: At the joint aegis of Belman gram panchayat, Rotary Club, Lions Club, Jaycees Club and locals, organized a condolence meet to pay homage to Dr Abdul Kalam at Belman gram panchayat auditorium, near here on Thursday July 30.

 

Belman gram panchayat president Mallika Rao offered floral tribute to the portrait of Dr Kalam on the occasion.

 

Laxmijanardhan temple managing trustee N Tukaram Shetty in his condolence address lauded the contributions of Dr Kalam to the nation.

 

 

Rotary district former assistant governor B Pundalika Marate, local medical practitioner Dr Prakashatma, Rotary Club president Sadashiva Shetty, Lions Club president Vishwanat Patkar, Jaycees Club president Subash Kumar offered condolences.

 

Belman gram panchayat members Prabhakar Shetty, Gerald D’Souza, Mohini, Faustine, Anita D’Souza, Shivaprasad, Shweta Shetty, Sandeep Poojary, Sri Kshetra Dharmastala Rural Development Project – Belman zonal supervisor Gopal, service representative Geeta Prabhu, Rotary zonal Commandant Suryakant Shetty, Lions Club secretary Raghunat Nayak Punaru, Jaycees Club secretary Raviraj Shetty, social activist Alwyn Nerri Pinto, retired principal Jayant Rao, Belman bus timekeeper Ravi and local residents were present.
