St Mary’s College, Shirva launches IT Club

Udupi, 16 Jul 2015: There are several means to gain knowledge in modern life.  Information Technology is helpful in this regard. Today, one need not struggle to get knowledge. The internet provides worldwide info at the click of mouse. One can enhance ones knowledge by logging into websites, but all the info available on internet is not trustworthy.  One got to be prudent in applying, said senior lecturer Dr S Padmanabha Bhat. 

 

Dr Bhat was speaking after inaugurating IT Club at St Mary’s College, Shirva, near here on Wednesday July 15.

 

 

The College principal Professor Rajan V N in his presidential address appealed to the students to gain knowledge through IT Club. BCA department head Assistant Professor K Praveen Kumar explained the objectives of IT Club.

 

IT Club director Assistant Professor Prakash was present.

 

IT Club secretary Santosh welcomed the gathering. The president Diksha Kamat proposed vote of thanks. Sushmita Bhat compered the programme.
