RSB Sangha, Bantakal organizes Sports Meet for community

Udupi, 01 May 2015: When the youth energy is focused; they could significantly contribute for social welfare activities. The sports and recreation activities indeed play key role in strengthening the bond among the youth, said Vikas Puttur, managing trustee of Durgaparameshwari temple, Montimar, Bantwal and BJP national youth morcha general secretary.

 

Vikas was speaking after inaugurating the district sports meet organized for Rajapura Saraswat Brahmin (RSB) community at MJC sports ground, Manipal, near here on Sunday April 26. It was organized by RSB Sangha ® Bantakal.

 

 

DK district ADC Sadashiv Prabhu was the chief guest urged the community to be actively involved in sports and all spheres, by not limiting to education for the betterment of community and to bring laurels to the nation.

 

Kaivalya Swami’s Chaturmasya Committee president Santosh Wagle, entrepreneur Shrisha Nayak, sports meet convener Vittaldas Nayak, MIT physical education director Dr Upendra Nayak were present on the dais.

 

Upendra welcomed the gathering. Ramdas Prabhu compered the programme. S Panduranga Kamat proposed vote of thanks.   

 

Various sports competitions were held for men and women on the occasion and winners were presented with prizes during the valedictory function.
